Ramblings of a people person

About Jason

So you’ve read a blog post, enjoyed what you read (I hope) and now you’re wondering, ‘Who’s the mastermind behind The People People?’ Well, you’ve come to the right spot to find out.

The People People was created by me, Jason Armishaw. I have several years experience in Business Development and Lead Generation. Having worked in a range of businesses and industries, I have a solid understanding of business, marketing and sales.

I am Co-Founder of Borrowed Size: an innovative clothing retail concept which offers new mums the option of renting fashionable breastfeeding clothing. In addition to Borrowed Size, I founded Startup Weekend in New Zealand & am a facilitator of SW events in New Zealand and Malaysia.

Within these ‘pages’ you can expect to read about networking, my thoughts on entrepreneurship, and of course, the occasional off-topic rambling. The People People blog is to educate, inspire and motivate ‘The People’ who read it.

Enjoy!

Hello Jason and congratulations on starting out on this new adventure of yours. I have just done the same thing myself, see here (http://www.johnbotting.com).

Your background in sales, and networking experience match mine. Once that light goes on you never look back from my experience.

Can I recommend 2 books to you and your readers. One is 'Make Your Contacts Count' a great networking book and second is 'The Go-Giver' a great book about doing business and networking in a different way. These are my gifts to you and your blog.

    Good luck with your endevours.

I love this new website – very easy to read and lots of ideas about networking.

It will certainly help migrants in their job searching in New Zealand.

I’m glad you enjoyed it Agnes. I hope it does help Migrants find new jobs. I was speaking with an immigration agency the other day actually. Small world. :)
